TEHRAN, May 26 - Iran’s Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs Sourena Sattari said that the country must focus on knowledge-based companies amid sanctions in order for they can have easier exports.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “We are seeking for further developing knowledge-based companies and holding technology exhibitions across the country is one way to expand exports” Sattari said.
The official said when holding expos, trade delegations from other countries come to Iran and get familiar with Iranian knowledge-based companies and that way the companies could sell their products.
He said that Iranian Knowledge-based companies have already achieved numerous successes in neighbor countries and farther South Africa.
“With regard to the current situation of the country and the existing sanctions, Knowledge-based companies can be a good way to further development of the country’s economy” the vice-president noted, adding that young and creative work forces could contribute the very development.
