TEHRAN, May 12 - Iran's Holy city of Qom is the place where the Muslim world's greatest Communal Quran recitation is taking place in the blessed month of Ramadhan.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The Muslim Worlds's biggest recitation of the Holy Quran is held annually in Ramadhan at the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her) in the city of Qom. The event is held at the Imam Khomeini prayer hall.
This year the Quranic ritual is organized so that it Is attended by the fasting Muslims, the pilgrims of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her) as well as the international Islamic scholars and clerics and it will last for 30 days, reported Iran Press.
The communal recitation of Holy Quran in the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her) is held for the first time in the Muslim World through the contribution of the top internationally recognised masters of recitation.
