TEHRAN, May 12 -Bayern Munich have missed the chance to seal the league title after stumbling to a goalless draw at RB Leipzig while second-place Borussia Dortmund won at home.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The Bavarians needed a win to make sure of a record-extending seventh consecutive league title but squandered several good scoring opportunities with Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski failing to hit the target. The visitors, who face Leipzig again in the German Cup final on May the 25th, also had a Leon Goretzka effort in the second half ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
Bayern are now on 75 points while Dortmund, who beat Fortuna Dusseldorf 3-2, are on 73. That’s while, Leipzig are third on 66 and they have secured their Champions League spot for next season.
