Country’s most unique air defense drills to be held current year

Tehran, YJC. Official says Iran’s air forces are going to hold a special series of exercises this year.

Commander of the Khatam ul-Anbiya air defense stated "We had good progress both in terms of quality and quantity in air defense. A special series of exercises is considered for this year which is not like any of the drills so far held.”

Providing comments on actions taken in the past year Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili stated "With the decree and direct supervision of the Supreme Leader numerous sites were added to the country’s defense system in strategic spots.”

He added "Last year there was much good advancement in combat power as well as in designing, producing and strengthening various radar systems. The Arash, Dahom Shahrivar, and Moragheb systems are among such advancements.”

He also pointed to the Talash missile project, Mersad 2 missile, and Shalamche mid-altitude missile, adding "Thanks to our defense industry specialists and the efforts of the air defense base staff right now the base is highly powerful at all levels.
