Army to unveil 6-barreled rotary cannon

Tehran, YJC. Army commander says his forces are going to introduce a rotary canon and a surface-to-surface missile soon.

Speaking at a news conference on Saturday morning, Major General Ahmadreza Pourdastan said that the Army is going to unveil a six barreled rotary canon named Muharram and a surface-to-surface missile in the near future.

The Army Commander pointed out "This year we will launch 4 rounds of exercises, one to the south-east of the country and one in south-west in which the entire Army units will take part.”

Stating that there will be two specialty drills he said "We will be holding an especially drones’ drill in Aliabad area of Qom and there will also be a set of cyber exercises.”

In answer to the Tasnim reporter on the Army’s recent actions on missiles Pourdastan said "We have a new missile project in cooperation with the IRGC Aerospace and the Ministry of Defense in order to improve the Nazeat missile in terms of both range and precision.”
