TEHRAN, May 06 - In a Sunday meeting with an official from House of Representatives of Niger in Tehran, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said everything is in place for further development and expansion of Iran-Niger trade ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Calling Niger as Iran’s friend and brotherly country, Larijani named mining projects in Niger as a suitable sector for presence of Iranian companies and tradesmen to share experiences and to do business.
“There is no limit for trade ties with Niger and the country’s businessmen can freely trade at Iran’s market,” he added.
He also informed that measures are being implemented to develop cooperation in medical, auto, power and education sectors.
Also, White House said US President Donald Trump has decided not to re-issue waivers that allow eight countries to buy Iranian oil without facing US sanctions when they expire in May.
Trump had earlier vowed to reduce Tehran’s oil revenue to “zero.”
Iran has, however, vowed to use its decades of experience with US bans and find a way around the new sanctions.
