Tehran, YJC. Haddad Adel has stressed the role of the Saadi Foundation as an international organization.
MP Qolamali Haddad Adel who was visiting the Saadi Foundation on the occasion of the new year stated that the foundation is a specialist organization to teach and propagate Persian throughout the world.
"Last year the Saadi Foundation was practically founded. This year it is needed that we work toward strengthening its roots,” he stated.
He also pointed to the formation of the foundation’s permanent board of trustees and said "Last march the board of trustees convened with the First Vice President and other members such as the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Science and Research, Education, Culture and Islamic Guidance, and the head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization. It is a happy omen that all stressed the importance of propagating Persian as a great asset of the Iranian nation.”
He added that as the range of responsibilities and activities of the foundation are formulated, the foundation will gain momentum in carrying out its mission which is to propagate Persian and to teach it to non-Persian speakers.
As the head of the foundation, Adel stressed the need for close cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology for educating and dispatching instructors abroad.
