TEHRAN, Apr 28 - With a total of 405kg, Ali Hashemi, Iranian weightlifter in 109kg weight category, won a bronze medal at the 2019 Asian Weightlifting Championships underway in China on Saturday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Hashemi, the two-time world champion, won the gold medal in clean and jerk with a 225kg record and lifted 180kg in snatch, IRNA reported.
Asian Weightlifting Championships are an Olympic qualification event.
