Tehran, YJC. Member of Majlis national security says opening headquarters is only a way for the EU to interfere with the affairs of Iran.

Lawmaker Esmail Kosari in interview with Fars on Saturday said "Bullying European and American countries including some despotic, arrogant countries in Europe have never settled for talks with us based on goodwill. Their inimical approach has become clear to the people of Iran and the international public mind.”

Asked for his opinion about the recent European Parliament resolution against Iran, the member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee stated "If we take the smallest step back on our peaceful nuclear activities Westerners will increase their excessiveness and will introduce absurd notions such as human rights. That is why today it has been proven to all where the nation’s lack of trust in Westerners comes from. We witness that the arrogant countries devise a new scheme against us every day.”

He also pointed to attempts to launch EU headquarters in Tehran and said "These are suspicious plans. No way would the people of Iran allow Westerners to interfere with the country’s internal affairs through excuses such as opening the European Union office.”
