Tehran, YJC. From domestic use natural gas to kerosene there has been a big leap in price barely two weeks into the new year.
After the natural gas used for domestic consumption was
announced to be counted for 20 percent higher than its price of the previous Iranian
year, now there is reports that 3 other fuel types are going to join in the
fun.
Mehr News Agency reports that in a new bill the government set
higher prices for kerosene, fuel oil, and liquid gas.
The new regulation has set the LPG price at 2,100 Rls per
kilo for 11-kg cylinders and 6,500 Rls for cylinders bigger than 11 kilos and
bulk storage devices.
That means that LPG has had more than one hundred percent
rise and price. Last year it was sold at only 1000 Rls a kilo.
The governmental cabinet also stated that kerosene will be
distributed for 1,500 Rls per liter and that with in return for coupons.
Fuel oil was also set at 2,500 Rls per liter.
