TEHRAN, Apr 08 - In case US blacklists Iran, it will never taste calm in west of Asia, Iran's IRGC Commander-in-Chief said on Sunday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned that if US blacklists Iran as 'terrorist organization', then it will face due counter-measures from IRGC.
“If the Americans make such a silly move and endanger our national security, we will implement and put reciprocal measures on our agenda based on the policies of Iran's Islamic establishment,” General Jafari.
He the asserted "this way US army and security forces will not enjoy today's calm anymore in the estern Asia region.
The administration of US President Donald Trump is expected to designate the IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization as early as next week, according to a US official.
The IRGC, which has roughly 125,000 military personnel and enjoys growing public support, is also actively cooperating in construction, infrastructure and relief projects.
