TEHRAN, Apr 05 - Iranian and Turkish officials discussed ways to expand bilateral ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad Farazmand and Turkish Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop met in Istanbul as they met mutual cooperation between the two countries.
“Parliaments of the two countries are of high potential and will to bolster bilateral ties between the two countries and nations,” Farazmand wrote in his twitter page.
Earlier in December, high-ranking Iranian and Turkish officials held a meeting in Ankara to discuss ways to further bolster and remove obstacles to the bilateral banking relations despite the US sanctions.
Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Abdolnasser Hemmati held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Murat Çetinkaya and other relevant officials to confer on ways to expand banking ties between the two countries.
