Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Deputy FM has presented UN special envoy to Syria with a plan to end the country’s crisis.

Brahimi who was on a trip to Iran met with the Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein
Amir Abdollahian on Saturday to discuss the latest developments in Syria.
The
UN special envoy to Syria expressed gratefulness to Iran for helping the Syrian
people and emphasized further assistance to end tension in the country.
Abdollahian
in turn presented Brahimi with Iran’s four-point proposal to work things toward
a way out of the Syrian crisis.
He said
"All countries and regional organizations must set into a real fight against
terrorism in the region, especially in Syria. They must help the country find a
political, democratic way based on Syrian-Syrian talks to end the crisis.”
The
Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs stated that guarding
borders against weapon transfer to "irresponsible” groups and avoiding
intervention are key to any peaceful approach to the Syrian crisis.
