Tehran, YJC. Guardian Jurist’s representative in the IRGC says as long as the government moves within revolutionary framework, the IRGC will stand behind it.
Ali
Saidi, the Guardian Jurist’s representative to the IRGC, said "The IRGC’S Quds
Corps has the regional and international mission to propagate the true
Muhammadan Islam and Imam Khomeini and Supreme Leader’s discourse among the Muslim.”
"The
IRGC’s intention regarding all administrations has been to cooperate,” he said,
adding "which continues as long as principals are looked up to. The IRGC has
even contributed more cooperation than administrations have asked for.”
He also
provided comments on the IRGC’s hand in economic projects and said "Part of the
IRGC’s acting war engineering has entered the construction section, which is
aimed at defending the revolution as mandated by the Supreme Leader. Mr. Rouhani's
speech in the recent gathering of IRGC officials and Major General Jafari’s
expression of readiness to cooperate with the government could raise to some
extent the rumors created by foreign media around the kind of cooperation the
government and the IRGC have. In the new administrational term we have the same
principals. As long as governments act within these frameworks we will render
all sort of cooperation. We wish the 11th administration success in
following the revolution’s interest and implementing the commands of the Supreme
Leader. The IRGC for its part will not grudge any sort of help to the
government following these aims.”
