TEHRAN, Mar 03 -Thousands of people attended a rally protesting President Milo Djukanovic and his government in Podgorica on Saturday, to call for the resignation of the President and his Prime Minister Dusko Markovic.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -Holding banners and placards, protesters asked for freedom for Montenegro and accused the president of corruption.
"I expect this protest to force all the criminal politicians to resign so we can have a better tomorrow," said Jelena Krstic, a protester from Berane.
The rally marks the fourth consecutive week that Montenegrins have been holding such demonstrations, where protesters accuse Djukanovic and his government of corruption and cronyism.
Dukanovic has been in power in Montenegro for three decades, serving as both Prime Minister and President with few interruptions since the country became independent in 1991.
