Tehran, YJC. José García-Margallo has arrived in Isfahan to meet the Governor-General.
Iran’s
Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ busy days will have the Spanish Foreign Minister José
García-Margallo on menu today, March 2, as preceded by a host of high-ranking European
officials who have so far been guest to the Rouhani administration.
The
deputy Foreign Minister of Spain who has made it to Tehran sooner than his
superior colleague has met his Iranian counterparts for preparations.
Margallo
who arrived in Isfahan to meet the Governor-General and visit the city’s
cultural heritage will stay in Iran until Tuesday March 4.

News Agency reports that the Foreign Minister of Greece is also to visit Tehran
for one day on March 24.
It is also said that the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs
and Security Policy for the European Union Catherine Ashton will make a trip to
Tehran in one week.
