Tehran, YJC. Foreign Minister has expressed concern over recent developments in Ukraine.
Speaking in a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of Poland on Saturday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said "We are concerned with developments in Ukraine. We believe that in the past few months, foreign interference has not helped things grow better in this country.”
The Foreign Minister then added "We
hope that the people of Ukraine would be able to decide about their future and
that we will not see Ukraine slip back into riots and hostile relations.”
Providing comments on his
meeting with Radosław Sikorski said "In this meeting we talked about regional
affairs including Syria, Ukraine, and Iran’s negotiations with the P5+1 on
peaceful nuclear issues.”
