TEHRAN, Feb 23 - Iran's president in a meeting with the directors of Knowledge-based companies, held on Saturday morning, stressed that knowledge has no border.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Hassan Rouhani noted that knowledge is the main pivot to technology and the requirement to that is freedom. "If science is to advance its pillars are freedom and good environment. Advancement starts from freedom; the advancement of knowledge, science, and technology is created out of freedom" he said.
He highlighted the significance of infrastructures as an other requirement to advance, saying that the research and technology progress depended on thew mutual relationship between university and industry.
Still in a greater scale, Rouhani talked about keeping on relations with the thinkers and scholars throughout the world to exchange knowledge, asserting that one of the government duties is to facilitate the relations.
Then, President Rouhani pointed out to the controversial mandate of US president to make walls around the country.
"They [the Americans] themselves are not aware that all their advances have been made in the light the fact that they have not had a wall [around them]for many years. In the United States, if it's a growth and progress, it's because of different nationalities; many Iranians are there and are trying. they reached the boundary of knowledge that when did not have walls" Rouhani explained.
Iran's president said that although there are pressures of sanctions imposed on the country from outside, they give Iranian scholars also new motivations to advance.
