Tehran, YJC. Supreme Leader’s consultant says Iran’s nuclear activities will go on in full force.
Aliakbar Velayati, consultant to Iran’s Supreme Leader, speaking in a
press conference with the President of The Japan Institute of International
Affairs Yoshiji Nogami said "The number of centrifuges will not be reduced.
Fordo will no way be shut down. The Arak heavy water facilities will also go on
operating.”
He further pointed out "Our officials will move within the framework
defined by the Supreme Leader.”
Velayati also pointed to recent changes in Ukraine and said "Ukraine has
turned into a court for countries from Europe to the United States which desire
to interfere with the country’s internal affairs. There is a line of
disintegration in this country.”
"The Islamic Republic of Iran knows relations with Ukraine to be within
its boundaries and it will not stand any force there,” he stated.
The Supreme Leader’s consultant added "The people of Ukraine want to
live independently, not having their politicians turning into a tool in the hands
of others. The fire raging there was set ablaze by the US.”
