Accuracy of Iranian missiles unmatched

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Major General Mohammad Bagheri, said on Monday that Iran's missiles hit their targets with only a tiny minimum of error.

In a visit to Imam Sadegh Institute of Islamic Sciences in Qom (south of Tehran), Major General Bagheri stated that Iran's Khorramshahr missile, in its final test, hit a target at a distance of 1300 kilometers with less than one-meter error margin, which is unique and unmatched in the world.

Major-General Bagheri also referred to the recent terrorist attack in southeastern Iran, said: "The necessary steps have been taken to prevent the repetition of such terrorist attacks and to retaliate against its perpetrators."

On 13 February, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) personnel were traveling between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, in Sistan-Balouchestan Province when their bus was hit by a suicide car bomber.

The attack killed 27 IRGC members and wounded 13 others with the so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group, based in Pakistan, claiming responsibility for the attack.
