TEHRAN, Feb 06 - French police were seen detaining and dragging protesters on the streets of Paris on Tuesday as trade unionist demonstrations resumed, demanding higher wages and reforms to the tax system.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Footage shows police forces charging into crowds of protesters, some of whom were wearing yellow vests, and releasing tear gas on them.
Reportedly, demonstrators demanded a 20 percent increase in the minimum wage.
Despite the French government suspending the tax hikes and announcing increases to the minimum wage, protests have continued - many under the 'Yellow Vest' moniker.
