TEHRAN, Feb 04 - Over 600 Artworks are competing in the month-long event of 11th Fajr Visual Arts Festival which is underway in Tehran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - 11th Fajr Visual Arts Festival opened officially on 28 Jan and will introduce its winners on 6 March 2019.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi.
Salehi said that economy of art is one of the main programs of the ministry and there are plans to boost the Iran's art business.
Over 90 photos displayed in the 'Days of Revolution' exhibition about the 1979 Islamic Revolution at the exposition which is part of the 11th Fajr Festival of Visual Arts.
“The photographers have taken photos of the early days of the revolution, which I believe can show the reality without any interpretation,” Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said.
Salehi expressed thanks to all the Iranian artists in different branches of the visual arts and said, “The artists have made efforts to register the major events of the Islamic Revolution since its victory.”
