TEHRAN, YJC. Russia will start arms supplies to Iraq before summer, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told the Voice of Russia in an exclusive interview.
According to him, Russia will supply helicopters and air defence batteries.
Russia would have begun the supplies earlier, but the Iraqi Parliament has still failed to approve the budget for 2013.
But the main thing is that the Russian-Iraqi deal on arms supplies remains in force, the Iraqi Minister said.
