Tehran, YJC. Senior lawmaker says Iran will not compromise on its military power.
Parliament member Esmail Kosari in interview with ICANA stating that Iran’s missiles are not any threat to regional countries said "Discussing the country’s defense power in the future Iran-P5+1 negotiations is a red line for us.”
"The country’s defense power is by no means negotiable in the Iran-P5+1 negotiations. Every now and then US officials make unrealistic claims to represent Iran’s missile power as a threat to the region,” the lawmaker asserted.
He further added "The Iranian negotiation team will have to ask the Western side, countries which inspect our nuclear program with a magnifying glass, how a few days ago they tested long-range missiles with the ability to carry nuclear warheads; or what countries created the Hiroshima and Nagasaki disaster which the public has not yet forgot.”
