Tehran, YJC. President says Iran seeks better relations with the world.
Hassan
Rouhani who was speaking in the national protest marking the 35th
anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution called the act of
threatening Iran as "standing against the glory of a history.”
"Threatening
us is worthless and childish. The language of threat goes against the law and
manners. Those who threaten need a new pair of glasses,” the president
asserted.
He added
"We try to improve our relations with neighbors. We believe that we must join
hands against terrorism and those who created problems in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
We have to think of regional stability and security. We must eliminate the
negative image created by enemies about the Islamic Republic. Regional states
may know that anti-Iranian sentiment is a lie and we do not mean to do anybody
wrong.”
President
Rouhani further said "We have to protect the achievements of the revolution
with the least cost. We will stand against trespassers with all we got and we
will make them regret themselves.”
Pointing
to the ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1, he said "Let them know
that our negotiations with the P5+1 relies on the Iranian nation’s goodwill and
love for peace. We meant by the negotiations to say that the unjust sanctions
have been illegal and wrong and that the world cannot go on keeping these
sanctions.”
"Our progress toward the peaceful nuclear
technology will be perpetual. The destiny of those who threaten will be like
historical trespassers. The nuclear talks are a historic test for Europe and
America,” the president added.
