Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei met a number of Iran’s Air Force commanders on Saturday.
"The rude statements by US officials are a lesson to all. The Iranian nation has to closely follow the recent negotiations and the recent statements by US officials,” he asserted.
Maintaining that the "key to the persistence” of the Islamic state so far has been clarity, he said "This clarity must not by any means be lost in confrontation with friends or enemies. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s stances have to be explicitly related.”
"Tactics can be altered but principals have to remain intact. That is the key to the country’s integrity and progress,” the Supreme Leader said.
He added "US officials say in the negotiations that they are not trying to change the Iranian regime, but they lie, because if they could do that they would not have hesitated for a second.”
