TEHRAN, Jan 12 - Iran is ready to share its defense industry achievements and products with friendly independent countries, Iran's Defense Minister has said .
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The Defense Minister made the remark in a meeting with Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, in Caracas on Friday.
Brigadier General Amir Hatami said, the desire of Venezuelan people for continuing the country's revolutionary government is a sign of failure of US plots and conspiracies.
Hatami added: "American leaders do not tolerate free and independent nations because of their spirit of resisting hegemony and tyranny."
He also said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to expand and deepen its relations with independent countries of the world, including Venezuela.
The Venezuelan President, Nicholas Maduro also expressed his gratitude to the Iranian defense minister and the accompanying delegation, emphasizing the will of his country to develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
On Januaray 10, Iran's defense minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami arrived in Venezuela to talk about bilateral relations with senior Venezuelan officials.
On the same day, he also met and talked with Bolivian President Evo Morales, to cement bilateral ties.
