TEHRAN, YJC. Iran Minister of Foreign Affairs has said that not only the sanctions will not increase, but they are to diminish.
Aliakbar Salehi said in the sidelines
of the Islamic Republic of Iran Border Control Police Commanders Summit "We
take it as good omen the fact that not only the sanctions will not tighten, but
they will gradually diminish.”
Salehi said that there is no more the rivals could do about Iran.
He asserted that Iran bypassed the sanctions with discretion and frustrated the
enemy.
Salehi believed that if the enemy has spent $100 to run
sanctions on Iran, it has not reaped as much as $10 out of it.
He added "Thank God so far the Islamic Republic has managed
to reduce the sanction effects so that despite the West’s previous claims to
impose ‘paralyzing’ sanction on Iran, today things are different and they have
not met what they desired.”
Salehi also added "Iran is
surrounded by 15 land and water neighbors and you can not make such a country subject
to sanctions easily.”
