Tehran, YJC. President’s economic consultant says years ahead are to bring a huge wave of jobless people.
Asserting that unemployment is the country’s biggest economic problem,
President Rouhani's economic consultant said that the years to come will bring forth
a gigantic number of unemployed people.
Maintaining that those born in the 80s reached the legal working age in
the late 2000s, Masoud Nili said "In the years to come we will have a deluge of
educated forces with no job flood the market.”
Pointing out that a minimum 6 percent economic growth is necessary for
the country in the future years, he added "The growth must definitely be job
creating and constant. The biggest obstacle against such a state is that we are
right now at the opposite point, that is, we are experiencing stagflation.”
Nili further said "The investment growth in the past year has been minus
21 percent. The number is minus 40 percent for the industrial section.”
