Tehran, YJC. Armed Forces Staff Commander says US better pursue diplomatic ways since its military option’s on-the-table-ness has grown into a joke.
The Commander of the Armed Forces General Staff of Iran in reaction to the US Secretary of State John Kerry on the military option being still on the table in regard to Iran said "The US military option on the table has turned into a joke with nations. Therefore it would be better if they followed the diplomatic way.”
Hassan Firouzabadi who was speaking at a meeting with military commanders stated "There is the proverb which goes ‘Never try to prove what nobody doubts.’ US officials lately made a blatant mistake to threaten the revolutionary nation of Iran with the military option.”
He added "Beside the fact that America’s military option has turned into a joke among nations, it would be better of US officials took a look back, and if they do not remember for themselves ask former officials why they didn’t dare attack Iran despite frequent threatenings and deployed forces and equipment .”
