TEHRAN, December 26 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi condemned a suicide bombing at Libya’s Foreign Ministry in Tripoli that killed at least three people.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a statement on Wednesday, Qassemi decried the terrorist incident in the Libyan capital and offered his condolences to the bereaved families of victims.
“The Libyan people can overcome the remnants of terrorism with unity and national effort and determination,” he said.
He further expressed hope that in the near future, the world will witness Libya's growing security and stability.
Terrorists stormed Libya’s foreign ministry Tripoli on Tuesday, killing at least three people, including a senior civil servant, the authorities said.
Ten other people were wounded in what officials said was a suicide attack.
Early on Wednesday, the Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack via its Amaq website.
