TEHRAN, December 26 - Syrian air defenses intercepted missiles fired to Damascus by Israeli regime warplanes, a military affirmed.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The source added that the Israeli warplanes launched the missiles from over the Lebanese territories and downed the majority of them before reaching their targets.
A Sputnik correspondent also reported several explosions hitting the Syrian capital. The causes of explosions, however, remain unknown.
Earlier, SANA reporter said that the air defenses confronted a number of the hostile targets over the space of Damascus western countryside.
The reporter added that the aggression was carried out from over the Lebanese territories and a number of the hostile targets were downed.
