TEHRAN, December 24 - The world's tallest Christmas tree made with almost 100,000 plastic bottles was set up in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes, footage filmed on Saturday shows.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Students from more than 70 schools collected plastic bottles in the period of seven weeks, which were then used to create a record-breaking 27,84-metre (90-feet) Christmas tree.
The plastic was collected in collaboration with the beverage company Coca-Cola.
A Guinness World Records official has verified the record for the world's tallest plastic bottle structure.
