TEHRAN, December 22 - Sharif University designed and built Friendship satellite and its terrestrial stations, the head of Iran’s Space Agency said.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The satellite design was finished with more than 150 experts engaged as well as 5 technical universities collaborating in electrics, aerospace, computer, mechanics, and industries engineering areas, Morteza Barari said.
To keep the satellite and equipment ready new tests were carried out which were successful, he added.
The head of Iranian Space Agency enumerated color photography with a resolution of 30 meters as well as monitoring vegetation and water resources as the capabilities of Friendship satellite.
