TEHRAN, December 19 - Following two and a half disappointing and listless seasons, Jose Mourinho is out as manager of Manchester United, the club announced Tuesday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The move to sack Mourinho comes as something of a surprise — not because it wasn't justified but rather because it took so long. It's been evident most of this season, with calls for his head starting all the way back in September when it became obvious that United was off the pace of the top teams in the league. It became even more clear in the wake of a 3-1 beatdown at the hands of archrival Liverpool on Sunday that put United 19 points behind the league leaders they just fell to.
