Tehran, YJC. Lawmaker says John Kerry’s threats to military confrontation are baseless.

Deputy Speaker of Majlis on Saturday addressing Iran’s nuclear deal said "So far the sides have been faithful in their commitments.”

Asserting that the amount of 20-percent uranium Iran already possesses is enough for the Tehran reactor, Mohammad Reza Bahonar said "We do not need any more of the 20-percent-enriched uranium. In fact the life of the Tehran reactor is less than the time the fuel will take us, which means that there is enough fuel.”

Speaking in reaction to recent statements by the US Secretary of State John Kerry against Iran he said "In the past three days, John Kerry has been talking of the military option. We should interpret that as serving domestic consumption. On the other hand there is also talking that we have to do, the 60-percent enrichment for example. But what takes place in reality is different.”
