TEHRAN, December 16 - "The Leader of the Islamic Revolution is master and dominant in security, defense and military issues, and we can extract the defense strategy from his thoughts in the best way", said Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi on Sunday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to an Iran press report, In the Fourth Congress of Defining The Defensive thoughts Of the Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, congratulating the "Research" day, Abdolrahim Mousavi pointed out that the Leader's statements are a strategy for achieving the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Asked the Leader to expressed Islamic theology in various fields, including defense for present and future he emphasized that: "This will be a great blessing for us."
Referring to the fact that defining the ideas of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the field of defense has been started since 10 years ago and now it is being taught at universities, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, said writing the definition of the Leader's theories has also begun and waited for the final confirmation from his office.
Major General Mousavi stressed that Spirituality, Resistance, Strategic Alertness and Self-Sufficiency and Military Self-Sufficiency are the four key pillars and paramount elements of the defense theory of the Leader.
"In the first element, which is Spirituality, the belief in the victory of the truth over falsehood is well represented" he stated, adding: "In the second pillar, perseverance, active resistance, active and ultra-active conduct is represent and the issue "Right" is being highlighted."
Defining the Strategic Alertness pillar, Major General Mousavi said: "This issue has been repeatedly mentioned in the statements of the Leader in recent years, and we gained victory wherever we paid attention to it."
Regarding the pillar four, Self-Sufficiency and Military Self-Sufficiency, he explained that it means belief in abilities, inventions and innovation, and the defense theory of the leader is based on the religious, scientific, and ethical principles.
Fourth Congress of Defining The Defensive thoughts Of the Leader took place on Sunday morning with Figures such as Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Defense minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami, and Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces general Kioumars Heydari in attendance.
Futuristic defense, strategic depth defense, Penetration and counteraction, spiritual empowerment and defense preparedness and resistance economy with emphasis on armed forces capacities were the main focus of this conference.
