Tehran, YJC. In the sidelines of the Davos forum, Rouhani has conducted a number of meetings on gas and oil.

In the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, president Hassan Rouhani met with the representatives of a number of oil companies.

Introducing 40 contracts in oil and gas fields and petrochemicals, Rouhani stated "The government will provide foreign entrepreneurs with inexpensive gas.”

In this meeting Iran maintained that starting September, it will offer "appealing” oil contracts in novel ways.

Speaking in the sidelines of the economic forum, Rouhani stated "Today things are so that the sanctions will soon fade away, because we are trying to prove that our activities are peaceful.

He further added "With new contract methods and by removing previous obstacles, everything is being ready to start a new round of cooperation between Iran and big oil companies.”

Expressing hope that companies would start investment in petrochemicals and electricity as soon as possible, the president maintained "Lower prices for gas and special facilities will be considered.”

Rouhani added "We intend to share the ownership of domestic car manufacturing companies with big international companies by making appealing offers.”
