TEHRAN, December 16 - 200 cities of Spain witnessed wide demonstrations and protests against the low income of the retired people who called for an increase in their pension.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Cities like Madrid, Valladolid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, and Corona were the scene of protest rallies by groups walked out to defend the retirees’ pension.
The angry protesters chanted slogans saying Left and Right parties ruling the country did not provide any major solution to the problem of retirees.
The protests has begun in Spain as the country's new Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, recently announced that the government at December 21 approved a 22-percent increase in government staff’s salary, which will be implemented from the beginning of the new year.
