EU damaged for cutting relations with Iran

In interview with IRIB News as he arrived in Davos, Switzerland, Hassan Rouhani provided an outline of his trip, Fars news agency reports.

Rouhani who is attending the 44th World Economic Forum stated that it is his administrative policy to develop ties with the world and said "To unite the economic, oil diplomacy with the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the objectives or the administration. That is what we will fully pursue in this forum.”

Further pointing to the World Economic Forum he said "This is a good chance for the Islamic Republic to offer economic capacities and investment opportunities in all sections as a country with unique facilities and capabilities.”

"Economic growth for Iran will not only contribute to the regional economy, but to that of the whole world. That is another issue which we are going to settle in Davos,” the president pointed out.

He also stated that he will have additional meetings in the sidelines of the forum and said "In these meetings we will remind the other side, especially the Europeans, of the economic and entrepreneurship opportunities in Iran that have been missed out on. We will point out to them how much damage they have suffered in the past years due to refraining from Iran and reducing cooperation levels.”
