TEHRAN, December 13 - Turkey's state-run news agency says authorities have detained three state railway agency employees suspected of negligence over a deadly train crash in the capital Ankara.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Anadolu Agency says the three were detained Thursday after the high speed train heading for the city of Konya crashed into a rail engine and hit a pedestrian overpass. Nine people, including three engine drivers, were killed.
The agency did not immediately provide detail on the detained employees.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed a thorough investigation and said those responsible would be brought to justice.
