TEHRAN, December 09 - 208,424 MT of commodities worth over $214 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) in the first week of December.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC)- According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 39,544 MT of various products worth close to $55.6 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 32,844 MT of steel, 2,040 MT of copper, 2,000 MT of aluminum, 66,000 MT of zinc as well as 2,000 MT of precious metal concentrates were traded by customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 124,514 MT of different commodities with the total value of $142.8 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 10,000 MT of VB feed stock, 45,488 MT of bitumen, 44,461 MT of polymer products, 23,391 MT of chemical products, 700 MT of sulfur as well as 2,150 MT of insulation were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME witnessed trading 44,000 MT of wheat was traded by customers.
