Jordanˈs minister calls for Islamic faiths unity

Jordanˈs Endowments Minister, by felicitating birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that effective steps should be taken to strengthen Islamic Umma Unity and eliminate existing differences.
Speaking in the opening ceremony of the 27th International Islamic Unity Conference Unity in Tehran on Friday, Hayel Abdul-Hafeez Dawood said dialogue for unity should be held in schools, universities and seminaries.

He added that Muslim Umma, Islamic thoughts and Islamic religion are facing a great danger today, adding that everyone should try hard for more unity and to eliminate existing differences in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Tunisia and other Islamic countries. 

The 27th International Islamic Unity Conference kicked off here on Friday in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and a number of Iranian officials, scholars and representatives of prominent Islamic leaders from Qom and Najaf.

370 foreign characters from 50 different countries are attending the 3-day conference.
