Tehran, YJC. Atomic Energy Organization says IAEA members will be visiting Iran in line with the joint plan of action.
The
Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behrooz Kamalvandi said
that a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency will visit Iran on
January 18.
He maintained
"A major part of the implementation of the joint plan of action from the Iran-P5+1
negotiations has to do with the agreements made between Iran and the International
Atomic Energy Agency.”
He further
added that negotiations are underway as to the way the items on the joint plan
as well as the nuclear inspection procedures will be followed.
Kamalvandi
then pointed out "The presence of the IAEA inspectors or representatives in
line with the Geneva agreement does not mean that these people are going to
settle in Iran.”
He asserted
"The issue that was mentioned yesterday in some press, including Reuters, that
the IAEA is going to launch an office was not only refuted by Iran but by the
other side as well, because such a thing has never been mentioned.”
