Tehran, YJC. Invited by Jack Straw, a delegation of Iranian parliamentarians are considering a trip to the UK.
Abbasali Mansouri Arani, member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis, in interview with Tadbir expressed optimism in regard to improving relations between Iran and the UK and said "Mr. Straw invited me and the parliamentary delegation on a trip to the country. Accordingly, we are considering the issue. If there are any interests, we will also make a trip to the UK as things progress further ahead.”
The former UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw had made the invitation during his recent trip to Tehran with a UK parliamentary delegation.
Straw is currently the head of the UK-Iran parliamentary friendship group.
