TEHRAN, November 25 - 793,962 MT of commodities worth over $452 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) last week, the trading volume and value experienced a growth of 15 and 26 percent, respectively.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 37,080 MT of various products worth close to $91.5 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 300,000 MT of iron ore, 68,250 MT of steel, 1,410 MT of copper, 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates and 1,000 MT of cement were traded by the customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 361,820 MT of different commodities with the total value of $333 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 194,825 MT of VB feed stock, 94,480 MT of bitumen, 50,673 MT of polymer products, 19,634 MT of chemical products, 1,230 MT of sulfur, 150 MT of gasses as well as 860 MT of insulation were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME witnessed trading 61,310 MT of wheat and 215 kg of saffron strands were traded by customers.
