Tehran, YJC. The Azerbaijan-Iran parliamentary friendship group are said to visit Iran early in 2014.
The Iranian Ambassador to Baku has said that Azerbaijan’s parliamentarians will be visiting Iran.
Mohsen Pakaeen said "Iran and Azerbaijan’s inter-parliamentary relation groups enjoy positive intimacy. It is expected that the members of the Azerbaijan-Iran friendship group will make a trip to Iran in the first half of 2014.”
The Iranian Ambassador to Baku speaking in interview with a local paper expressed hopes that Iran-Azerbaijan relations will grow stronger in 2014.
Pakaeen also pointed out the importance of the press in helping the two countries’ relations and said "Generally speaking, the press is influential in strengthening bonds between countries. So there must be more and more contact between the representatives of our media. News and thoughts must be rapidly communicated between them, and they must play a role in strengthening bonds.”
