Tehran, YJC. Iran is a news hub and subject to attention from all over the world.
Every day hundreds of news reports go from Iran to every
corner of the world. The country is a source of attraction for news agencies.
A lot of news agencies and other forms of press have an
office and reporters in Iran and can easily gather and send news to their home
country. But there are still some which, due to financial problems, have
neither an office in Iran nor reporters of their own around the year. That is
why Tasvirnet (Institute for the Supply of Media Content) has started something
new.
The institute has set as one of its tasks, the provision of
content, including news report, interview, analysis, note, and article, for
press inside and outside the country.
Doing so, Tasvirnet attempts to obviate the need for office
and reporters for those news agencies that do not have any in Iran.
Tasvirnet CEO Saeid Aladpoosh in interview with YJC said "Our
institute is ready to sign contract with all press, newspapers, TV channels,
magazines, and other forms of publication which seek to cover Iran’s news
within the legal framework in order to provide them with photos and texts they
need.”
Saeid Aladpoosh
"A lot of the press would like to cover Iranian news at
special times such as the presidential or parliamentary elections, or religious
occasions. But since they lack the financial power required for sending staff
and equipment, they prefer making contract with domestic contractors. I believe
our institute can provide them with content with the least cost,” he further
said.
He also said "The institute is also able to apply for license from related organizations and launch headquarters for foreign press which are interested in operating inside Iran."
Aladpoosh also stated "Right now Tasvirnet provides photos
for a number of domestic press at the original size. Whoever would seek photos in
Iran can sign up on the website and download the photos online.”
Aladpoosh furhter said that he will be available through info@tasvirnet.com and added that the
website can be reached on http://tasvirnet.com/Fa/Default.aspx .
