TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -South Korean and Japanese fishing vessels collided Thursday morning off South Korea's east coast, the country's coast guard said.
The collision caused a 48-ton fishing boat South Korean vessel to partially submerge in the waters 206 miles off South Korea's easternmost islet of Dokdo, according to Yonhap. It caused no serious damage to the 100-ton Japanese fishing boat.
A crew of 13 South Korean fishermen was rescued and transferred to a coast guard boat.
The South Korean coast guard is investing the cause of the accident.
