Tehran, YJC. Takht Ravanchi is to visit Cuba, Venezuela, and Bolivia next week.
Majid Takht Ravanchi in interview with Mehr said that he  will visit Latin America next week, adding "During the journey which will take ten days I will visit Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, and probably one more country.”

Rejecting claims that the 11th administration will shift attention from Latin America to the US and other major countries the Foreign Minister’s Deputy in Euro-American Affairs said "We want to have respectful, equilateral relations with the whole world. We think it has to be so. We are interested in continuing our relations with all countries, especially with those who have been friends with us for years. Latin American, East-Asian, neighbor, and African countries, the priority going to neighbors, are all on our agenda.”

Also providing comments on the Foreign Minister’s upcoming trips, Takht Ravanchi said "The Foreign Minister will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on January 22 and 23rd.”

He further added that Zarif will attend the Munich Security Conference held on January 31 through February 2nd.

The Foreign Minister’s Deputy in Euro-American Affairs also maintained that the non-resident UK Chargé d'Affaires will be visiting Iran in the near future.

"We have made an agreement with the UK to follow a step-by-step trend. I believe that the past cannot be denied, but we must see the future to follow such a trend within our foreign policy framework which is based on mutual respect and equilateral stance with the UK,” he stated.
